Testimonials

Peter was a very informative tour guide. He informed us he was the 2nd best tour guide in NYC lol. We hope our rating elevates him to Number 1. Tour is highly recommended and definitely worth the money. Museum was wonderful. It was a moving and solemn experience. Don't rush yourselves, allow plenty of time and go early. Awesome day.

— Daniel

I already knew a lot about 9/11 from years of documentaries and this tour still provided a lot of new information. Jared was a great tour guide who could answer all my questions and had a great personality. I highly recommend this tour!

— Kirk

Ibeth was a great guide. It was chilling listening to her recounting of events from the perspective of a witness to the events at Ground Zero.

— Priscila

Our guide was wonderful! So informative and patient. He showed us most of the areas and very important pieces. We went back there after the tour was over to see more!

Tim really gave us a meaningful tour. He is a New Yorker who actually was in the city that day. It is one thing to visit the site on your own, and another, more rich and meaningful experience, to be led by Tim.

— Vickie

The stories are personal and quite painful, but they are balanced with hope and resilience. Jaclyn was a wonderful guide and this tour is something I will always remember.

The guys did an amazing job. The content was fantastic, very well-structured, and just a lot of fun. What can I do now? Make a pizza that tastes like how I imagine a New York City pizza should taste.

— Jan

A perfect experience for colleagues, clients, or even a big group of friends. Ricky, Rufus, and Shah were incredible hosts who taught us every step of making great pizza.

— Hana

Jon was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, and the passion he has for what he does is truly exceptional. His passionate storytelling of the events of 9/11 brought us to tears more than once.

Ray was one of the best tour guides we have ever had in any city. He made the tour incredibly personal and relatable, sharing his experience as a native New Yorker working in Manhattan that day. It was really interesting, and very moving, to hear someone's experience first hand.

— Lan

We were a family of 4 with two kids, ages 11 and 14. Daniel gave us firsthand insight into the sights, sounds and emotions of that horrible day. I loved the personal aspect as it really helped our children connect and understand, as best they can, an event that we should never forget.

— Jackie

The best tour I've ever been on! I've been to the city multiple times and yet everything felt new. Jorge also took the time to share his in-depth knowledge of different cultures and communities. The tour itself felt like it was trying to be ethical by supporting small businesses. I would do it again!

— Khaliah

Incredible guide. Ray's dedication and involvement in the tour were exceptional. He didn't just recite facts; he brought the boroughs to life with his personal anecdotes, deep knowledge, and engaging sense of humor.

— Adrian

Chris, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable, funny, and kind. A great tour of the spots you wouldn’t usually visit as a tourist in NYC! Absolutely spectacular.

— Niki

— Karen

Our private tour with Jorge was amazing! We saw so many things in just one day and his knowledge was incredible. We had 4 moms and 4 teens, and he was able to keep us all happy and engaged all day. Highly recommend this as a way to see the NYC highlights in a day!

I took the Ground Zero 9/11 Walking Tour. Tim Douglas was our guide. This tour is worth your time and Tim was an excellent guide. He knew everyone's name and called us by name. He is knowledgeable, personable, and just had that extra charisma. He kept things light (hard to do with such tough subject matter) but real. I would highly recommend this tour and Tim.

Tim was EXCELLENT!! Very knowledgeable, very personable, and made it worth the cold!!

We did a tour with Steve and it was wonderful! He is a local from New York who has seen the city changing along the years, and having his insights on this made us feel even more connected to the history of New York. Definitely something you don't get usually in tours with younger people who moved to New York. 100% recommended. Thanks!

A fantastic experince thanks to my guide Jim. (DATE 17.02.2026) I recommend it 100%.

— Nikki

It was a nice experience to be part of

— Kenny

Tim Douglas was our guide. Very knowledgeable, sweet with me, my kids, and everyone in the group. Really great time. Well worth it.

Timothy gave us an amazing tour around the Statue of Liberty. I went with my 12 year old and the way the history was told kept both of us engaged and captivated. Such a rich backstory to the amazing monument. Timothy was able to approach challenging topics without presenting bias or opinion. He kept it fun, objective and educational. For the money it was an incredible experience.

— Douglas

We were taken back by how sincere and truthful our guide, Alan, was with us. Very informative, very truthful, very respectful of the time and places he showed us. I was not expecting his level of sincerity and we are grateful for the experience with him.

I'm so glad we decided to book a guided tour while visiting NY this past weekend. Jason T. was an amazing tour guide. He was so informative, knowledgeable and personable. At times the tour had solemn moments, and due to his experience, he knew exactly what to say and how to handle those moments. He absolutely deserves five stars!

I'd like to note that we missed the tour, which was our fault as we got on the correct subway train but going the wrong way. Once we realized that we couldn't make the meet time, I replied to the text message sent to me from the trip advisor. They responded asking what time we could be there, but we were going to miss the time by an hour. Although we showed up an hour+ late, someone was still waiting at the meet point with our ferry tickets, so we did not have to re-purchase the ferry tickets. In addition, the tour guide was messaging with me and we were able to connect at the Statue of Liberty, but we had just gotten to that point and they were heading over to Ellis Island, we decided to stay so we could go through the museum. I was very impressed that the tour company kept interacting with us doing their best to get us back on tour, so even though we only met up with the tour guide for a few minutes, I will give them five star review for their continued attempts to get us connected with the tour guide.

Tim was well versed, respectful and knowledgeable. It was a memorable experience for our family.

— Heather

This tour exceeded our expectation! Our guide (Steve) was very knowledgeable, we learned & enjoyed a lot. We tried pizza during the brief break. It was amazing! Highly recommended!!

This was an excellent tour, well paced, packed with relevant information and the time flew by. Even though it was very cold it didn’t seem to matter as we were so engaged in what James had to tell us and show us. We took 3 tours with this particular company during our week in Manhattan and they stand head and shoulders above other providers. We can’t recommend them enough. And James, we took your advice and can agree that the Chicken Pot Pie is incredible. Thank you.

— Julie

Excellent tour of the Statue of Liberty. Well organized, tons of history facts and details provided along the tour. Dena, our tour guide for the first hour shared the history and had a lot of facts that we didn't know. Excellent. The second hour was free time for our family to walk around and take photos. Great views from the island.

Joseph was our guide. He was witty, funny and we learned a lot from him!

Chris did an excellent job, would highly recommend. Hit all the highlights!

— Sherpa

Sean was our tour guide at our 9/11 memorial experience this week. He was absolutely wonderful. Besides his extensive knowledge on the subject, my family and I were deeply moved by his personal touches and descriptions from that fateful day. It is evident by the way he spoke how compassionate he is about the subject. I would recommend him to anyone I know who is considering visiting New York and taking this tour. What an amazing job he did. I am so thankful to him for giving my husband and me, and our 13-year-old son, this experience. It will last with us for a lifetime.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and insightful. He made our tour unforgettable! 10/10 would recommend again.

A very interesting tour through boroughs we wouldn't have seen with our excellent tour guide Jim. He made the tour very entertaining and the time runned fast.

— Susan

We loved the extra questions he answered to personalized the tour.

Jack was an excellent tour guide. He is not only a wealth of information regarding the history of New York, but also very funny. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide!

— Cody

Kevin did a great job explaining the history of NYC. He was very inclusive of the different cultures and presented a very positive viewpoint.

— Catherine

Tim provided an outstanding tour and was really engaging and informative. His local knowledge and lived experience meant we were introduced to things you wouldn’t have awareness of as a tourist visiting without a guide. Despite the cold weather (-16 when we went!), we could have listened to Tim all day. He was extremely knowledgeable, made a point of engaging everyone in the group by using our names as he drew our attention to key points and managed to get the balance between humour and history spot on which meant it was entertaining without the importance and significance of the subject getting lost. Genuinely the best tour we’ve ever done. Very highly recommended.

— Katevmiller

Great tour with Kevin. Very informative and well versed on everything . He kept us entertained while also providing a lot of information

We had an absolutely fantastic walking tour of the Highline and Meatpacking District. The experience was made truly exceptional by our guide Maki who was brilliant from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and insights, while also being genuinely funny and engaging throughout. His storytelling bought the neighbourhoods to life and made the tour both informative and highly entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would totally recommend this tour - especially if you are lucky enough to have Maki as your guide. Thank you

— NYC tour!

A "must do"for tourists to discover life outside Manhattan. Kevin was a knowledgeable, informative and engaging tour guide. The 6 hour tour flew by and we saw so much more of NewYork that would otherwise have remained hidden to us.

— Wander

Great experience and the Jack was awesome. The Statue of Liberty was amazing to see in person. Ellis Island was really neat to see

— Traci_T

Really enjoyed our tour with our guide Joseph who was outstanding in his knowledge of the Statue and Ellis Iand. He made a VERY cold outing into something special. Highly recommend.

— DMBalt

Tim Douglas was a great guide - super approachable and knowledgeable. Made the tour feel very short , fun, entertaining, and informative. Tim, thanks again for the great tour!

— oskarr711

My son and I learned about the 9/11 site in a way you don’t get by reading. Tim Douglas guided us through the area adding personal stories. The 11 Tears monument and the Fireman’s wall were new to us. Our group had many from countries outside the US. We shared where we were at the moment we each heard about the plane strikes. No one had forgotten exactly where they were or what they had been doing.

— Mary Be

Had a great tour with Tim Dowd! Personable and told great stories- we really enjoyed the experience. He was a good guide that explained things thoroughly. It made visiting this site a great experience.

— T9804ZDmelissak

Our tour guide Joseph is excellent. Very detailed, knowledgeable and never a dull moment. If your are planning any tours in New York do yourself a great favor and ask for Joseph!!

— fserra

James was fountain of information and was great with my students. It was a great experience. It is a great intro to understanding the history and function of Wall St. and the Financial district. The price and length of time is perfect.

Our guide Maki was incredibly knowledgable about the area and showed it in his enthusiasm and fun. Learned a huge amount about the Meatpacking district as well as the High Line, both past and present. A thoroughly enjoyable and informative tour.

As a long time New Yorker Tim made the tour personal, more real. Highlights: 11 Tears memorial, the fireman’s wall and the reflection pools.

An amazing tour of the ground zero site and neighbouring buildings and areas of interest. Our tour guide Tim Douglas kept everyone involved and engaged and was really knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour

I booked a 911 Memorial Ground Zero Tour with my adult daughter on Tuesday 27th of January The experience was amazing .Our tour guide was Paul Kelly and he really made the experience so memorable .Paul is so passionate about what he does .The weather was so cold but Paul continued to make sure with got every piece of information he had and told us some amazing stories .I couldn't recommend Paul highly enough . Tim Douglas had the right balance of information, light humour and respect for our 9/11 tour. He is also amazing at remembering everyone’s names! So glad we booked, thank you.

jim and leong were amazing and gave us a great tour with an excelente driving and interesting explanations of each stop.

Excellent facts and fun filled day exploring the four boroughs. Jim Q was our guide and he made it thoroughly enjoyable. Leong the driver was masterful at getting us into the action. Thoroughly recommend.

— Q298NHjohnc

Great tour with Jim tour guide and Leon the driver gave us a lots of hints in the tour. Liked the stories of Jim and recommendations for our visit in New York. There was enough stops and time for a snack, lunch and breaks for the restroom. Great experience. 5/5

— attep2024

Jim Q was the best!! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and great sense of humor. This was my first NYC tour and I learned so much! Thank you for making this experience one to remember :) Bianca

— biancamV1527FH

Awesome experience!!! Jim Q and Leong delivered one of the best tours we've ever taken. It was a thorough experience of New York City, not just the poshy Manhattan side. They showed us the real New York and it didn't disappoint. Queens, Bronx and Brooklyn were awesome. We're from Florida and travel all over, even despite the snow storm and winter conditions, it was still awesome. I tipped 40%

— OnAir57204889484

Tim was our tour guide and he was really good. He was funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable. He answers all the questions that anyone had. His personal life experience really added value to it as well.

— RDLBRGR

Our tour guide, Emily, was friendly, enthusiastic and generous. We thoroughly enjoyed her commentary and the way in which she adapted the tour given the very VERY cold conditions. We are so glad we did this tour. It was a highlight of our trip.

My sister & I did the 9/11 Memorial Tour + Museum + Observatory and it was excellent. Our tour guide was a local New Yorker who was there that day who had great knowledge to share and local first hand references that most visitors would not have known that truly added to the experience. Thumbs up for front of the line to skip the crowds! The Memorial Pool & Museum are breathtaking, heartbreaking and powerful. We learned about the story of the white roses and more. So worth the price. 3 - 4 hours.

Ken was informative, friendly and very knowledgeable. The tour was so interesting, so glad we did it with a guide and glad that guide was Ken.

Our Met Highlights Tour was fantastic. Though we had been to the Met before, it is so enormous you really need an intro to get started. Kevin was super knowledgeable and supplied with visual aids and obviously extremely familiar with all that we might want to see or learn. He was open to our various personal interests and requests and led us on a very enjoyable and expert morning, which we were able to use as a perfect foundation for further explorations on our own.

We visited New York from the UK in early December 2025, we pre booked our tickets for Ground Zero, Museum, One World Trade Centre and a tour. Our tour guide Tim Douglas was so friendly, very informative and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. It was quite emotional, I'm glad we were able to pay our respects. Thank you Tim, you're amazing at what you do. From, Sally-Ann, Sam, Kelly, Craig, Nicola and Ben :)

I really loved the stories told by Felipe and overall the tour was great! I really recommend it! Even if the westher was challenging in January.

Felipe was a great tour guide. Very informative and engaging explanations and stories. 2 hrs is the perfect amount of time. Highly recommend

It was a super cold day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very cognicent of the weather restrictive day. It would had been nice to access a couple of teh buildings.

Timothy offered a wonderful and personable experience to Liberty Island and seeing the Statue of Liberty. From the moment the tour began to the end of the tour two and some odd minutes later, it was engaging and thoughtful. He explained and answered questions freely. One of the best things I have done in NYC in many years. I cannot say thank you enough to this wonderful tour guide.

What an great tour, Paul Kelly was amazing and very knowledgeable.

We did the Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown tour. Even though the time was over, Mindy continued and shared more insider information and showed us nice spots. When walking through Soho she also told us where some celebrities live which I liked. She always waited for the group and did not rush! We had a little break in Little Italy to buy a snack which was great. All in all I can really recommend the tour and would always book Mindy again for other tours. It was one of my highlights of the trip! Mindy is such a nice person, kind, funny and a great guide!

If the purpose of travelling is to ‘broaden the mind’ surely the most important experience must be to gain an insight into the history of the place you’re visiting and how this has shaped its culture and direction. For this to happen you need a bus (especially in sub zero temperatures in January!) and an excellent tour guide. This particular tour gives takes the visitor beyond the usual highlights of glitzy Central Manhattan to see the other outer areas of city. This is where the quality of your guide makes a dramatic difference. As we drove through each area, Chris, our tour guide, explained their history and pointed out the transformations that had taken place in recent times. Full of frequent stops and photo opportunities, this was an excellent tour. With a highly knowledgeable and entertaining native New Yorker as a companion this is one tour that anybody wanting to get a feel for the real New York should not miss.

Lovely walking tour through The Village with a very knowledgable host, Steve, who's insight into the history of the area was amazing and very indepth, taking the group to places that you would've just walked by. Thanks to Steve for a great tour and wonderful anecdotes. Highly recommended

Would recommend this tour to everyone even if you think you know all about 9/11. We learnt some interesting and powerful stories and how resilient America is and what a statement that has been made and is continuing to be made. They rebuild and come back stronger and more importantly they are so proud of their country. Our tour Paul Kelly was amazing and very knowledgeable. The group was not too big and meeting people from around the world was fun! Totally worth it! 5 stars!!

Such a very incredible and interesting experience, absolutely recommended if you want to get the most out of your trip to New York, specially if you'd like to immerse yourself in a vibrant and cultural experience and be closer to what really New York is beyond Manhattan. The staff are truly New Yorkers and they certainly do their job pretty well.

Wow!!! It was very moving and powerful, but also very beautiful as showed how resilient America is! Such a good tour! Would recommend this tour to everyone even if you think you know all about 9/11. We learnt some interesting information, such powerful stories and how resilient America is. Ground Zero, what a statement that has been made already by respecting and building around the original twin towers and is continuing to be made by adding more. They rebuild and come back stronger but more importantly they are so proud of their country. Our tour guide Paul Kelly was amazing and very knowledgeable. The group was not too big and meeting people from around the world was fun! Totally worth it! 5 stars!!

Ray was very knowledgeable and interacted with the group making thr tour very interesting. Highly recommended. Ferry crossing very smooth

Jorge was an amazing host! I lived in Brooklyn a dozen years ago, and wanted to see how it's changed. This tour was a great way to see the different boroughs, and Jorge pointed out some locations that I hadn't known about. There were several opportunities to take pictures and walk around, but we were able to see so much more being on a comfortable bus. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a reasonably priced way to see the real NYC.

This is easily the best trip in New York and at a great price, particularly when you consider how much the places like the Empire State Building now costs. There is a huge amount to see and to take it all in you need to set aside at least half a day. Book from the official seller only, we booked ours online. Book well in advance if you want to visit the crown.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, very well organized. Despite the relatively cold weather, it was very interesting. I liked how everything was arranged. There was time to eat, drink, and relax. I highly recommend it. For this price, it’s a very good tour, and very pleasant people run it. Thank you very much.

Ray was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and even braved the brutal weather to show us around.

Amazing tour, thank you Megan, you were so knowledgable and made this tour very memorable and emotional

Kevin was very knowledgeable about many different art movements. He was an excellent tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone interested in taking their enjoyment of the Met to a different level.

Thanks to Chris the tour was fun and interesting. We enjoyed some foodie experiences and saw the most interesting parts. Respond to review

Jason was a great guide and shared interesting information including his experience as a native NYC.

Great tour Kevin was very good we learnt a lot on this tour very informative and knowledgeable we were very happy some great pic opportunity's would definitely recommend

Very good tour and fill with knowledge! It helps since the museum can be a bit overwhelming. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Justin was great! He was super informative and answered all of our questions. Gave us great recommendations on what NYC apps to use and shows to watch. The walk was honestly not bad at all. We did walk about 4-5 miles but at a leisurely pace. We did get potty breaks and were able to get coffee. Awesome tour!

Charlie is the MAN!!!!! Very knowledgeable and animated…. His passion for NYC draws you in with his story telling!!! 🥰

We really enjoyed our 9/11 tour. Our tour guide Jaclyn was so knowledgeable and you could tell she really cared about the content she was sharing with us. I walked away with a lot of new knowledge she shared. Great experience.

Out tour guide, Charlie, was amazing. The whole experience was fun, very informative and at the same time very easy to comprehend. My husband and I really learned a lot about the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as well. Charlie was energetic and upbeat, always engaging the group. He truly made the tour memorable.

I throughly enjoyed our9/11 ground zero tour with Paul Kelly. He was engaging and informative and kept us entertained for the 1 1/2 hour tour. We learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour with Pauyl

Tim was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to friends and family anytime they are in the city.

Very good tour, a lot of information and a cool tourguide, thx Marc.

Charlie was a great guide. Gave interesting history that we would not have known. He also handles the weather well as it was really cold

Great narrative of the memorial grounds and the history after the events of 9/11. Jake was very knowledgeable and personable.

Jimmy was a great tour guide!!!

Jimmy was excellent. He was thoughtful, a great storyteller and a great guide. I would highly recommend to others wanting to tour the 9/11 memorial.

The tour guide ,Charlie was extremely knowledgable, Friendly & entertaining throughout on a very cold day. He kept everyone involved which was sometimes difficult to concentrate in the temperatures. Would highly recommend him as a tour guide of new york city.

Jimmy was an incredible tour guide and I would highly recommend him for visiting the WTC site and memorial. He is very knowledgeable and gives personal memories and insight from that day. He interacts well with the people in his group and he is very passionate and out the diet and his city. He gives people time to have their questions answered.

During the winter it was great to do the tour but please be sure to dress for the weather. Overall it was a great experience.

Paul Kelly was an outstanding tour guide! Would definitely book through this group again. Communication was great. Wirth every penny

We braved the cold on a snowy MLK day along with 20 others and had a fantastic experience and wonderful tour from Charlie. He is quite the story teller and had us all hanging on his every word. He was able to answer everyones questions and brought the history of the statue of liberty and ellis island to life. Highly recommend this tour. Plan to stay an hour or two at Ellis Island, lots to see and a reasonably priced cafe for a quick lunch stop.

Tim was an excellent guide! Very knowledgable and organized. Despite the lousy weather, we are glad we paid our respects at the memorial and had Tim to educate us from a New York perspective.

We spent just over 2 hours with Ken in a highlight tour of the Met. It was perfect. Exactly as I imagined it. Ken is affable and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed.

We visited Liberty Island and purchased our tickets from the main ticket office situated in the park by the side of where you catch the ferry at a cost of $18 each which includes ferry to both islands (Ellis and Liberty) The ferry although absolutely packed was a pleasant 15 minute crossing to the see the Statue of Liberty and museum which was as great experience!! ..The ferry has a shop with snacks drinks and some souvenirs.. it also equipped with rest rooms. You get fabulous 'close up' pictures of the great lady herself and the museum is a 'MUST' there are lots of places to sit and take in the views of NYC from the island and the island itself is a beautiful clean environment. We eat at the main restaurant and cost $40 for the two of us including a drink and was actually great food to be fair! ..The island also has a gift shop.. Highly recommend a visit!!!

Tim did a wonderful job on this tour. He was totally New York and we loved that. He did his best to convey nuances that I’ve missed in the past when touring the site on my own. Thanks Tim.

Tim was an amazing tour guide. In the short time we were there, he learned everybody’s name on the tour. He made a point to keep everyone involved in the tour. He is very knowledgeable about 9/11. I would highly recommend him to anyone planning to tour the 9/11 Memorial.

Sergio was fantastic and well prepared from the start. Excellent experience would highly recommend

Great tour of the 9/11 Memorial. Sergio was awesome . He is super knowledgeable, took his time explaining everything, and kept it fun and engaging. Highly recommend!

Sergio did an excellent job orienting us to the tragedy that occurred here on 911… the structures, and the new rebirth of the sacred ground… He provided great insight and shared numerous pictures with our group of about 20 people. I would highly recommend Sergio to anybody looking for terrific understanding of this sacred site… up up up up

Knowledgeable, funny and fast, Jett gave us a quick but very interesting tour with some highlights we surely would have missed.

Great experience with our Irishman, Sean. He was wonderful! He was very enthusiastic and animated. We highly recommend!

Despite wet snowy day, it was a great experience. Our guide Emily did a great job. Very impressed with how informative she was, which really added to the experience. Highly recommend.

Great tour of four of New York’s boroughs. It’s a great way get an experience of New York beyond just Manhattan. Our tour guide Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Our group of four from Australia all really enjoyed this tour, one of our best days in New York. It was wonderful to see other areas aside from Manhattan. We found the tour guide, Jorge fantastic and he was very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. It was good to get off the bus at various sights, grab some food and take some photos. Highly recommend this tour – 5 stars!

Liz was amazing at explaining everything, showing pictures, talking about before, on the day and the impact it had on New York overall. I can’t recommend this enough for people who haven’t done it.

This was an immersive tour that provided insight and access to points and places that were wonderful to experience. Guide Jorge was beyond exceptional! He shared his deep knowledge in very clear and detailed manner along with great personal insights. The bus was clean and comfortable and driven with expert skill through the city traffic. You cannot go wrong with this tour!

Knowledgeable guide kept us entertained in the freezing snow. Charlie took time to speak with the individual participants. We had a good time.

We loved our group tour with Ross. He is a delightful true New York native tour guide with inside scoop tidbits the general public would not know. His insights made the tour so much more appreciable. We highly recommend walking around on your own after. Several things we missed during tour were exceptional. The rooms from the Parisian hotels/mansions were an unexpected delight.

Tim is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and funny. The tour stops were very educational. Tim captured the emotional moment of 9-11.

Our family had a great time with our tour guide, Tim Douglas. He did a great job and packed in such interesting and important information on our tour. 2 hours may sound like a long time, but it went by so quickly when you are fully invested in what you are learning and seeing. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Steve was such a great local guide. My teens loved it. The food recommendations were fabulous and we loved seeing some famous houses and learning about the history of Greenwich. Such a fabulous tour. Highly recommended.

TIm was very personable and very informative - He set the bar for the remainder of our 9/11 experience

It was a solid, informative tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we all knew the enormity of what we were seeing and tried to get us to a place where we could imagine what it was like that day. Guide was awesome.

Great experience and Tim Dow was a fantastic guide - knowledgable! Very thorough and learned so much more about the history, day, current efforts!

Ross was very knowledgeable and friendly. Such a great way to tackle a large museum.

The tour guide was very informative - he made the experience comfortable. He knew the area well. Highly recommend him for any tour

Ross was very knowledgeable and friendly, made the tour totally worth the hours

A wonderful overview and introduction to The Met. Ken was informative, well organized both with information and added photos which enhanced our understanding.

Very informative! Well worth the money to have a native New Yorker who grew up near the towers tell the story and facts of the event.

Chris gave us an amazing tour of this museum. He was highly engaging and very informative. The 2 hours flew by!

Not only is this your informative but it is incredibly powerful! Rob, the best tour guide ever, was a media photographer during that awful Tuesday and provides detailed accounts and facts that only one who was there could! He starts you out in the Oculus World Trade Center, then to St Paul’s Chapel which was the relief center and then off to the Memorial Pools. The tour ends at that point with Rob but then individually you continue into the museum then to the observatory so as much time can be spent as needed. We were in the museum for four hours and observatory for one. I have done the museum and observatory before but this tour gave me so much more information along with a personal touch that, in my opinion, is very much required for this memorial! Thank you Rob for everything!

Jorge gave a fantastic tour. He was so friendly, very knowledgeable, and did a great job bringing a personal touch to such a meaningful experience. Thank you!

Great to know the history of how the statue of Liberty came to be brought and erected in Ellis Island. our tour guide Joseph was as knowledgeable in history as he was also a great actor.

It was great from the start, James was charming when we first met him and he was very knowledgeable. It was about 2 hours and we walked around Wall Street and the New York stock exchange as he was informing us about the historical contexts behind the crisis. The payment fee was definitely worth it because we left the tour learning much more about it.

Had a great time on this tour. James was awesome and very knowledgeable. Would def recommend him as your guide.

Mindy was wonderful and gave us so many interesting stories about the Statue of Liberty. Very worthwhile tour and great experience.

Ken was very knowledgeable ans great! Highly suggest a tour with him! We did a 2 hour museum and he was able to touch on a lot of sections!

GYG guides are always the best - and Ray R was no exception. Warm bus on a cold day, lots of information, and short walks to see things :)

Ray R is an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable about all the history of New York. We all enjoyed the tour and would recommend the tour.

We had an amazing tour and overview of The Met with Erika as our guide. She is a walking encyclopedia. She was able to disseminate all this knowledge weaving stories together. She was able to simplify centuries worth of history. Her grasp of history and art were impressive. Would gladly sign up for another tour with her without hesitation.

Really enjoyed it. Ray was really nice tour guide. Told us a lot about New York and took us to on best empanadas in New York. Really recommend it

It's a complete and very deep experiencie. Our tour guide Ray R. knows a lot about every corner of the city and make dad's jokes 10/10

The tour was very great. Our guide Ray showed us a very nice and not-traditionally places for food, markets etc. We have never visited these place. That was amazing. Of course, we saw also typical sights, f.e. Yankee stadium, Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge... Thank you!

Amazing tour worth the every penny filipe was amazing. Very informative. I would recommend to anyone. The knowledge he had of each village was great

Very informative! Well worth the money to have a native New Yorker who grew up near the towers tell the story and facts of the event.

Jason was beyond awesome!! He made it so personal. He was an expert on the topic and brought the experience to life. I am 70 , have traveled the world and have done probably 50-75 guided tours and can honestly say he was the BEST guide I ever had!!! Animated , heartfelt and extremely well spoken with personal experiences added to the professional content. He brought the whole experience to life. Obviously I can’t say enough about him!! Thanks Jason you were truly amazing!! Sincerely Randy and Doug

My sisters and I found our Ground Zero Tour extremely interesting, and we learned so much that we did not know before. Hearing of the experience of that awful day from someone who was there to witness, even from a distance, really makes this tour more personal. Tony was a great tour guide and very informative. Thank you.

I had an amazing time with Jim (tour guide). Honestly I booked this tour pretty last minute, like right before we left for New York, so I was afraid there weren't going to be any more tours. However I found this one at the perfect time. I think we did this on the third day of our trip, and it was great, because this was an all day tour. Honestly we had a great time learning about so much of New York's history. It was a very friendly atmosphere, and in total with the tour guide it was 6 of us. I felt the admission fee was perfectly ranged and I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Make sure to wear tenny shoes cause you'll definitely be needing it! Absolutely loved Jim!

Comprehensive tour of the upmarket Chelsea and Meatpacking District with Maki. Great delivery of the interesting historical background of the area by this part time actor. Loved the walk along the High Line and the history behind it. Was lucky enough to be the only one on tour. Thanks Maki

Was perfect it’s really beautiful Great experience for me to see the liberty state so close and get to know better the history

Rob was an exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide covered anything and everything about the site the location history and story’s first hand of the day would highly recommend for anyone that isn’t from New York or even the country as we attended from the UK and was a great tour made better by Rob

Ray was a friendly and knowledgeable guide

Our tour guide, Emily, was friendly, enthusiastic and generous. We thoroughly enjoyed her commentary. We are so glad we did this tour. It was a highlight of our trip.

Great food tips in soho, China town and little italy!! Good histories and good vibes on the tour

Sensational tour with tim Douglas. Humorous and very informative. My travelling partners also loved it. Thank you

Would recommend this tour. Our guide Tim Douglas was very knowledgeable and engaging and made this a very interesting experience.

The tour was great! James Q was an amazing tour guide giving us information all the journey. I highly recommend this experiencie. Thanks from Argentina :)

Great tour - definitely worth doing made all the more special by tour guide Tim Douglas - thank you Tim!

Jason was very good and knowledgeable on this tour, also we was lucky as only 6 people on out tour so it was like a one to one if we had any questions would definitely recommend this to others. The observatory is amazing especially at night as on 102nd floor

Had a really fun time. Our guide, Tim Douglas, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. He talked to everyone and kept the tour group really immersed. It was rainy but it was still a great time despite the rain.

Excellent tour to experience the contrasts of the city. Jim shared his experiences and insights with us, which enriched the tour even more. Highly recommended for recharging your batteries after several days of walking around NYC.

Espectacular experience! Jorge was a great guide, very funny and very comfortable to be with (not to mention he speaks english and spanish fluently). Overall, I had a great time and I absolutely would recommend anyone to do this!

Jimmy was very engaging and approachable and like all of us, had a story about the day 9/11 happened. To hear from someone who actually experienced the disaster was unique.

Chris our tour guide was so knowledgeable, funny, and kind. A great tour of the spots you wouldn’t usually visit as a tourist in NYC!

My family of 6, including 4 kids ages 9-14, thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tim Douglas. He was witty, informative, and took great care in getting to know his tour group and tailoring the tour to them. This was my kids’ first visit to Ground Zero and Tim’s tour spurred lots of good questions and hard conversations.

Chris was a brilliant tour guide. Lots of good knowledge about the city and its history. Included everyone by playing a song for them. A good way to see things you wouldn’t usually see. Thanks again Chris! From Georgia (Liverpool) & Graeme (Ireland) :)

A really good tour with fantastic detail from Jaclyn! She really helped with understanding the key elements and really showed her passion. Highly recommend.

Incredibly moving experience. The private tour with Maya was insightful; I loved hearing her story of being in NYC on 9/11 and what that was like from her perspective. The museum itself is lovely and very personal. Seeing the city from the observation deck at sunset and then into the evening was perfect. This is an absolute Must Do!

We chose the Ground Zero with VIP Museum tour. It's been a few months (and I regret that I cannot remember the name of our tour guides). Both guides were outstanding! The woman who handled the outside part of the tour was very friendly (also liked my red hat!) and made the effort to connect with everyone in the group throughout. She was very informative and her delivery kept things interesting and well paced. She was very respectful of the grounds and the information that she provided about the ground zero memorial and the fire station located nearby made us feel closer to those who experienced the chaos and losses firsthand. This extra effort made the tour unforgettable for us. We appreciate the details and the experience a lot and hope to book more tours when we return later in 2026.

Our guide Jett was the best. Super knowledgable and fun. A great experience learning about history in a casual exchange of ideas.

Steve was an incredible guide on the SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown tour. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the experience. We’ve taken a lot of tours in many different cities, and he easily ranks among the best guides. His knowledge was impressive, his delivery was engaging, and his food recommendations were fantastic.

Steve was an excellent guide. Really insightful. Good size group. Good length of tour and easy walking. Brilliant value for money

Amazing trip!!A must see in New York. Our Tour guide Mark was vey knowledgeable and answered all of our questions… He was very helpful and fun!!

It’s a very informative tour. Our tour guide Joseph K was absolutely wonderful. He made the tour fun and had a lot of cool information that we didn’t even think of before the trip along with pictures of who and what he was telling us about. We visited in January and our group was a manageable size and he interacted with us along the way to make the tour feel more personalized. It was a great experience!

Felipe was very good as a host. We had a small group but it was a mighty one. I enjoyed every moment and the tour was incredibly incredibly in-depth and humbling.

Solange was the best guide I could’ve asked for! She knew what she was talking about and shared a lot of information and facts with us! 6 hours sounds long but it went by faster than I expected. We were a really small group of people so Everything was pretty easy! I booked with the GoCity Pass so no fees for me! Everyone was nice and friendly with each other!

We were only on the 9/11 Memorial tour with Kathryn. She made the experience well worth the cold temperature. Her personal insites in the complex added to our enjoyment of the tour.

Meghan is excellent.. knowledgeable, surreaywoth her presentation.. keep the group focussed and the same time entertained

Jake was wonderful! He shared stores from first hand accounts of September 11th but kept the tour light and super interesting

Interesting tour with very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide (Chris). Great way to see neighborhoods outside of Manhattan that you might not otherwise visit.

Celia was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and fun. She answered many questions and went at a great pace. Her direction when moving was on point.

This is a must see tour. Tim Douglas was our tour guide and he did not disappoint. He told us stories about some of the victims and helped us understand how Ground Zero was designed. It was very emotional to be where it all happened, but helps you to remember that day and how the world changed afterwards. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is one of the best museums to see. There are so many accounts of that day in the museum. The One Trade Observatory is definitely worth experiencing. Would 100% recommend this tour!

Celia was beyond knowledgeable and can tell she loved doing tours. She made the experience as first timers very pleasant. Best part is our group photo will go on her fridge :). Don’t look anywhere else.

Chris was excellent! Great sense of humor and knew his stuff. We enjoyed our time and so did everyone else. Would absolutely do it again.

Had a fun tour of SoHo, Little Italy & Chinatown with Steve. Although I'm basically a "local," there's SO much I don't know about these areas, so I love to get the scoop from life-long residents. Steve regaled us with one fascinating historical story after another, always linking them to current or relevant news. I learned a lot about the colorful "underbelly" of life, law and economics in these places - fascinating!

Great tour, very informative, knowledgeable tour guide. Really enjoyed being able to visit areas outside Manhattan we wouldn’t have otherwise visited.

Very good experience I really recommend this! Chirs was very kind and funny on explaining everything and made us taste the best empanadas of NY! Thank youuuuuu

Very knowledgable tour guide! Chris was amazing. Tour was great. Saw lots of cool places like Bushwick and Jay-Z’s neighbourhood

It was totally worth it. The experience was so great and hilarious with the tour guide. We even played baseball 😁😁. Chris is the best!

Very overwhelming. Can get crowded at times. Plan on 2+ hours to get through it all. Lots of memorabilia from the building on display. Lots of walking.

John Anker Bow curated an interesting, well thought out and documented tour. Full of history, back stories and points of reference. Highly recommend John if you are looking for concierge level tour of some of the most important, iconic points of interest in the city.

Nicola was fantastic! Very energetic, engaging, super interesting choices of topics covered and we hit amazing works of art!

Nicola was an amazing tour guide who made the Met exhibits come to life. He made pieces and concepts approachable and his passion for art and educating others shines through.

Nicala was an excellent tour guide. He had some great stories and great sense of humor to add to the stories. His knowledge of the historical art and how it relates to things we would never know was interesting and valuable. Made it all worth it. Definitely got a good sense of the MET in 2 hours. Excellent job Nicala

Our guide was Kevin, and being an artist, he had a lot of interesting insights into the art behind this little city. He brought us to small highlights within buildings that most people miss.

From beginning to end, Charlie was the consummate guide! He gave wonderful nuggets of information on the history of New York City, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. He paced the tour perfectly with info sessions and free time to explore. His personality kept the group engaged completely!

Rob was a perfect guide. Thank you very much. He explained a lot of interesting things about the place! Very good !!!!!!!

Marc was engaging and incredibly knowledgeable of his subject matter. He answers questions well and keeps meticulous track of his tourists. I highly recommend taking his tours.

Ray provided fun facts throughout the tour! I enjoyed learning about and experiencing the Burroughs. Thanks for a great day 😀 Respond to review

This tour was worth the price. We had a great time and enjoyed some delicious food options thanks to the advice of Ray R. the tour guide.

Excelent experience with Ray, all very good, his explication were very easy to understand, he joke about something’s making the experience more fun and interesting 5 stars ✨ Respond to review

Great day out, visiting many of the main attractions amongst others. Our guide, Ray R, was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative.

We had the best time with Rey, he was a great tour guide, he was really attentive to all of us. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that wants to visit the most of Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens.

Jess was an amazing guide for this tour, since he’s a professor, he explained pretty complex concepts very clearly before telling about what actually happened. I personally don’t have much background in finance, but it was still interesting and clear. Me and husband are pretty introverted people, however, we still felt comfortable chatting with him. Best guide I ever had!

Arun is an excellent tour guide! I would want him to be my tour guide on any of my tours:) He explains what happened on 9/11 very well. I left feeling like I learned a lot more about each moment of the day, each building that was attacked; as well, he cleared up questions I had without me even asking them. What was really amazing was the way he spoke about the people. From the victims, to the heroes; the families to the survivors, he shows so much compassion and warmth for them all. His stories made me feel so close to people I have never met. Now that is a great story-teller. The only thing I would have changed is doing the tour of the museum with him. Thanks, Arun! You made learning about such an awful day in our history easy to get through by the flow of your tour. You gave your personal stories, the facts, survivor stories, etc all at the right times. It made for learning about a terrible tragedy bearable and set us up just right for the museum. Thanks again! It’s easy to see and feel you love what you do!

Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was engaging as well as entertaining. We’ve been to New York over 1/2 a dozen times but we learned so much more on this tour than most others we’ve been on. Food and adventure was top notch!

Out of all the tours I looked at, NYC in a day:Statue of liberty, times square, and more by far had the most value and brought us everywhere we wanted to go. Yes, the tour is long, and does involve a lot of walking, but there are still times that give you an opportunity to rest and there is also an hour long lunch with plenty of them to rest. Overall, I had an amazing experience, and my tour guide Cale was amazing. He is extremely friendly, passionate and truly made everything interesting and fun and even though the route for the tour itself is good, he made it a great tour and a very personable experience.

Charlie was knowledgeable, personable, smart and humorous. He took great care of his group and we had a great and educational experience.

Joseph was the best! Super entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the whole experience enjoyable and engaging from start to finish

peter was best in the times square broadway tour. lot of insights and new info and knowledge. i really learnt a lot about broadway

Steve was great. Sharing his personal experience growing up in NYC added a lot to the experience. This is the third time that we have taken this tour.

Our guide was knowledgeable about 9/11 and had a story to share about her family member who worked at the World Trade Center. She took us to visit many areas, where our guide informed us about the structures that remained after the tragedy. The firehouse, Ohara’s pub, and the church. The information about the Oculus sundial, and how each individual who lost their life on 9/11 are honored on their birthday, and so much more. I highly recommend the guided tour!

It was so fun! Our tour guide Steve was amazing and was really funny and awesome with a lot of cool information about New York City with great stories of his. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something to do in New York!

Amazing! A great tour guide. He had and shared, so much local knowledge, both past and present. We loved every minute. Highly recommand. Thanks Respond to review

What a day! It was bitterly cold with a little snow, a little rain, a little fog and a little more fog. And our experience was great - mainly because of our tour guide, Ken! He was so apologetic about the weather and did his very best to make it a fun and interesting tour. He delivered! Thank you, Ken, for all the information! Who would have thought this grand statue is only as thick as two pennies back to back? Highly recommend and hope you get Ken!

Tim was an excellent tour guide. He made a point to know everyone's name to learn everyone's name in the and used our names when he was speaking to us, which is important to draw us into the moment. His stories were poignant and empathetic. You will be incredibly lucky if you get Tim as your tour guide.

Tim Douglas was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable and allowed the group to be interactive with the experience. Would definitely recommend to others.

Good tour of Times Square and Broadway, very interesting. Claire was a very good guide, well prepared and really committed to give us a whole picture of the neighborhood. She very friendly and professional

A very enriching and fun your of these three neighborhoods. A great way to learn and enjoy the sights. Felipe was very knowledgeable and his pacing was excellent.

The guide is very knowledgeable on the subjects and presentation. Very much enjoyed the tour. She did a great job!

very informative and interesting tour Ray R knew lots of history of the local areas and was a great tour guide and recommended good areas

What an excellent way of seeing NYC. Ray R was terrific and a font of knowledge. Thank you and would recommend to anyone wanting to see an NYC overview.

Ray R. was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable, funny & took good care of us! Definitely recommend the tour for anyone!

Incredible experience. Our Tour guide Ray R was fantastic, very knowledgable and gave us a good laugh ! Would highly recommend if you’re wanting to see the different boroughs of NYC. We would have loved to experience more of Queens, as we only stopped at Corona Park. but other than that it was brilliant. Plenty of stops for pictures and food. Thank you Ray for a great day out!

I am a teacher with a Doctorate in Political Science and I wish I could take Ray into a classroom to talk about the NY culture and history the way he did with our group for the past 6 hours today! Ray’s vast knowledge of NY history, art, architecture, music and best places to eat is not only impressive it is fun to listen because he is a story teller at heart who changes NY accents on demand and quotes more movies like a movie critic. Ray’s warmth and thoughtful demeanor are what make him a stellar guide tour. If you are looking for a tour/ experience that combines fun and culture this has it all-

Ben was super knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great combo of history and financial context. I Learned a lot! If only the weather had been warmer!!

Russell was a fantastic guide. Having also been living and working in NYC on 9/11 (and first time visiting the memorial) his recount of the day was an accurate and emotional rendition of the day. Highly recommend.

Peter the guide was fantastic. got real good insights on the Hudson yards development, Manhattan and New york in general. strongly recommend.

This was our third time visiting the 911 Memorial and Museum. Our guide Russell, did an amazing job of explaining what we were seeing and experiencing. We learned several things about that terrible day that we had not heard before. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and made the tour a much better experience for us.

He is extremely friendly, passionate and truly made everything interesting and fun and even though the route for the tour itself is good, Cale made it a great tour and a very personable experience.

Our guide Mark was excellent, he made the tour informative with some fun facts as well. Definitely recommend the 2 hour tour as a great way to see the Statue of Liberty.

We had a brilliant tour with Rob around the World Trade centre and the 9/11 memorials. He gave us the history of the area, what happened on that day from a general as well as personal experience from a New Yorker. He was informative and engaging.

We appreciated the detailed information provided by our tour guide, Tony. The 911 Museum was an emotional experience.

Owen Thompson was our tour guide he was very knowledgeable and delivered the whole tour in a really engaging but relaxed way

The tour guide, Liz, was incredibly friendly, easygoing, and knowledgeable. She included and interacted with everyone, including a small child on the tour. It was a pleasure to go on her tour.

The Dyker Heights Christmas tour was a truly amazing experience. My family thoroughly enjoyed the tour and seeing the lights. Our tour guide Jorge was awesome and provided so much interesting commentary to the trip. We would do this tour again for sure!!

Really interesting tour and well-prepared concerning the topics and the information. The guide was very kind and friendly

Thank you a lot for Meri ! It was very interesting ! We saw Chinatown like we would never have seen it. Thank you a lot ! It was a great expérience

Fantastic tour with Russell! He is extremely knowledgeable and his first-hand experience provided great insight into what 9/11/01 was like for New Yorkers. He’s very patient and a great group leader. He also has great pizza recommendations!

We had a great visit with our guide, Peter Sullivan. He gave us a interseting view of SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown with interesting stories

Jim was the perfect tour guide! He is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of NYC. I highly recommend using this company and requesting Jim in particular for your tour.

Excellent tour of Soho, Little Italy and China Town. Mari has interesting information and history and relays it professionally in an easy to understand vocabulary. Would definitely recommend this walking tour.

Filepe was a lovely guide and made it an enjoyable experience. His sense of humour kept everyone engaged and made it a memorable time

Amazing tour, worth the time, Felipe was very informative and fun. Definitely a must go for those who travel solo and need a great company telling about stuff you wouldn’t know otherwise.

Walking tour was great and very fun! Felipe is a wonderful tour guide with so much knowledge of NYC. Gained new insight on stuff we wouldn’t have known.

Our guide, Ray, was amazing. His knowledge and insight as a New Yorker experiencing the day was impactful. Not only do you see the memorial but other spots that are significant to 911 and the days that followed. His stories are poignant.

Marc was fantastic. He was our guide. He provided thoughtful historical insight, enough time to ingest all we were seeing, and a great sense of humor. Marc is the man!

Jaclyn was an outstanding guide on our 9/11 Ground Zero tour. Her deep knowledge of the events, the memorial, and the history of the site made the experience incredibly informative and meaningful. She answered every question with clarity and patience, ensuring everyone in the group felt heard and understood. Most importantly, Jaclyn maintained a solemn and respectful tone throughout, honoring the gravity of the location without ever being overly dramatic. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting the 9/11 Memorial—she truly elevated what was already a powerful and emotional tour.

Jimmy was a great tour guide, we really enjoyed our trip! The tour was very informative and his ability to speak to the events of this day from a personal standpoint were super unique and interesting.

Our tour guide Marc was the sweetest person and kept us all entertained. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and had answers to all of our questions.

Our tour guide, Amy, was great! Very nice and energetic but also very knowledgeable with the history of the monuments. I learned a lot on this tour

Tour guide Amy was awesome: friendly, open, warm and sufficiently instructive. She was clear in her directions and delivered her content with energy and enthusiasm.

This tour was wonderful, Paul Kelly was our guide. He did a wonderful job sharing information, stories and personal experiences with us. I highly recommend this tour, I learned a lot and really enjoyed Paul as our guidez

Upon arriving at the meet spot we were welcomed by Steve. He was engaging and interesting - and best bit was that he was a born and bred NYC local. Was so fascinating to hear first hand about the areas he had lived in for so long, no just a script, he really knew the places we were walking through. He was great with our kids - chatting to them and answering their questions. He even dealt brilliantly (and professionally) with some other people on the tour who were rude and thought everyone else should wait whilst they sat down for a pizza. I would 100% recommend this tour - we loved seeing some areas of NYC that we’ve not before - but make sure you get Steve as he made the tour for us!

The tour was great, I learned a lot from Helene Zinszner. She is very smart and informative and she came very prepared with printed out photos and facts. The length of the tour was perfect and she dropped us off on the side entrance of the museum where we got to cut the main line. An experience I found very important and every American should go see.

Anthony was great. Very knowledgeable and was open to questions and discussions. Took great pictures of each group with the Statue of Liberty. He was very proud of his city.

Our tour with Paul was incredible, sobering, and surreal. The personal connection he had to Ground Zero was heartfelt and brutally honest.

Jim was amazing and so knowledgeable. I very much enjoyed his upbeat and joyful commentary. He also spent time with us just chatting about other things as well. Learned a lot. ✌🏼

Great tour customized based on group preferences - our guide was deeply knowledgeable about art, culture, and history. We lucked out getting a guide who is not only an artist, but also teaches art history and grew up in NYC using the Met as a resource. As amazing as the Met is, our guide made the experience even better! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Jimmy was fantastic, knowledgeable, warm, funny and honest, great experience integrated his personal experience with great insights

Jimmy was awesome! We enjoyed his firsthand account of 9/11. He knew the facts and took us to some various interesting memorials. Would highly recommend!

Maya was a great guide - Knowledgeable, sincere, and articulate. The entire experience was well worth it. We recommend to others.

We did this tour with Jimmy. My f as Mike and I were very impressed and loved the tour with Jimmy. His personal story of the day in New York made it a realistic account of the day and close feeling of what it was like. His knowledge of the hero’s and events on that dreadful day 24 years ago was the best part of his tour

Very fun tour! Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about NYC from him. The itinerary was good too and we saw a lot of cool sites of 4 boroughs in 6 hrs. Highly recommended.

The guided tour of the 9/11 Memorial was incredible. Jimmy, our guide, was knowledgeable and shared the history with also personnel experiences from that specific day. It made the experience so much more meaningful. Highly recommend taking the tour!

What a great experience! Tour Guide Erika was incredibly knowledgeable and interactive! We plan to go back to The MET on our next trip!

WOW – what an amazing Statue of Liberty tour today!! Emily was absolutely fantastic 🤩 So knowledgeable, super informative, and incredibly friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made the whole experience so much fun. Could not recommend her highly enough – 10/10, would do it all again!!

It was a very nice, funny and informative trip! Our guide, Jorge, was very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of details about the places we visited.

Dave provided extensive information about the events and impacts of 9/11 on New York and the redevelopment efforts of the area impacted. While I had been to the site before, I learned alot of new things..

— Nancy G.

Such a fantastic tour with Jim and George. Jim was very entertaining and looked after us so well. It was great to see the other boroughs and we would highly recommend

Thanks to our wonderful guide Justin, this tour was wonderful! He knew a lot of a really interesting things about Hudson Yards, the High Line, and the Vessel, and he always kept the tour lively and entertaining. He was also super friendly and helpful. The tour was just the right amount of time and Justin kept us moving, both indoors and outdoors, taking into account weather. This tour would be great for anyone.

Jim whaler was expert in his knowledge and experience of both NYC and the job at hand, Statue of Liberty and Ellis island tour; he shows great enthusiasm and gets the crowd engaged. While it was a freezing day we stayed with Jim as he is captivating in his presenting.

Chris was an awesome guide, really clear and explained everything. Recommended! The tour is Beautiful, with a different perspective of NY

The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island tour was an unforgettable experience and an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and engaging, allowing us to fully appreciate the history, symbolism, and beauty of these iconic landmarks. Standing before the Statue of Liberty was truly awe-inspiring, and exploring Ellis Island brought powerful stories of hope, resilience, and new beginnings to life in a meaningful way. What made the tour exceptional, however, was our guide, Meri. She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging, sharing fascinating historical details and personal stories that made each stop come alive. Meri’s enthusiasm and depth of knowledge elevated the entire experience and kept everyone captivated throughout the tour. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Meri as your guide.

Absolute 5 star tour with Claire! It was quite a large group but Claire managed to keep us all together in the busy area. We absolutely loved all the information and the sites we visited. Above all, Claire was amazing!

Sergio was an amazing tour guide and gave us very good information about the Statue of Liberty that I never knew and I am 52!! I'm still high from visiting Lady Liberty!!

Very nice and quick tour. Just enough. Tour guide was great! His name was Sergio. I would recommend the tour

This tour is a great way to see and learn about New York. Cale was very knowledgeable and the perfect guide. Would highly recommend.

Dave was a great your guide! Honestly, I thought I knew everything about 9/11 (I didn't), Dave shared so much more about this event than I could have imagined. Thanks for the eye-opening experience

Fantastic tour with Steve - very knowledgeable about the area and kept the group entertained. Lovely morning with small group.

Amazing experience, Justin had a lot of facts about the neighborhood and also great attitude. Super recommended, he is aware of the information and told us so much stuff we didn’t know about

I did a walking tour of the Oculus world trade center, 9/11 memorial, 9/11 museum, and the world observatory. This is a wonderful and informative tour! Well worth the price. Sergio did fantastic. He's very knowledgeable and respectful. Would highly recommend.

Took my family to see the Statue of Liberty. My mom (has had a hip replacement), 9-year-old son (who was having major GI issues) and 9-year-old niece were our crew. The tour was excellent and I'm so glad we signed up. My mom was able to keep up and the tour was perfect.

— Kelly

This was easily one of the best things we did while in NYC and it was all thanks to our tour guide Steve who added his own personal touch to the tour and shared such interesting information and facts that we otherwise would never had known. Living in NYC Steve knows so much and made the tour so enjoyable we didn't want it to end!

My only experience with this company is recently with Charlie as my tour guide, and I thought "I bet all the guides are as good as Charlie". Well....I was walking by another group from the same company and the group couldn't have appeared more uninterested in what the guide was saying (sorry to whomever the guide was of that group). Im glad Charlie was our guide. He was informative, animated, personable, and attentive to each individual in the group. He also took some time to give us his recommendations as a local New Yorker. If you go on the tour request to be paired with Charlie. 5 stars, thanks Charlie!!!

Steve our local tour guide, lived here all his life, was great. Good local knowledge and informative. We toured Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho. In all about 2 hours 15 with a coffee stop., Well worth it.

Great communication ahead of time, easy directions. Actual tour was well organized with a balance of free time and guide narrated. Owen was informative, funny and organized. I liked that we could leave Ellis island when we wanted

Absolutely amazing memorial, museum, and tour. Tony Di Sante was our guide and did a fantastic job! The memorial and museum were deeply moving and very emotional. Be prepared for a deeply profound experience, especially if you lived through the events of 9/11 like I did. I will need to go back and visit again.

The bus tour in New York was very nice. We saw many famous places and our guide, Chris, was friendly and helpful. The bus was comfortable and the tour was well organized. It was a great way to see the city. I recommend it. Respond to review

We wery much loved it , it was a very good experience . Our tour guide Chris , was very professional , gave us a very detailed explaining everywhere we went and was friendly too . The bus was comfortable

Chris provided very insightful & thorough commentary throughout the tour, providing information to us we otherwise would still not know. The locations we went to were areas we would not have necessarily gone to visit on our own, so we loved this about the tour. We loved our day - thank you

My daughter and I were celebrating her 16th birthday and we had a wonderful morning out with Jim guiding our tour. It was a wind chill of 5 degrees on the morning we went and we genuinely appreciated Jim providing great information inside before we went over to the islands where it was so frigid. He was so full of knowledge and excitement to share with us. He even made sure to get our pictures in a great location for keepsakes of our trip. He offered great insight and recommendations for our visit to the city as well. Truly a pleasure!

Jim was an amazing tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the tour! Great tour guide and great experience

Jim was a great tour guide. We live locally and learned a lot! We had adequate time to get off the bus and explore. We had a great lunch somewhere we likely never would have gone. The driving was also very smooth - thanks George!

Jason was a fantastic tour guide on the ExperiencesFirst team. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic. Would highly recommend.

Great trip from start to finish. Driver was great and Chris was brilliant, there was nothing he didn't know. I would recommend this trip we seen loads things

Alex was great. Very passionate and informed. It was my first trip to the Met and my only regret is not being able to spend more time after the tour was wrapped. We just had other things scheduled. You could easily spend the whole day there!

Jake was fantastic. Knowledgeable and engaging. Interesting facts we never heard of. Aware of current events surrounding the monument and effects 9/11 had on the city.

I did this tour with my son. It is hard to keep a teenager engaged, Steve did this. Great stories and anecdotes, he knows his neighbourhood. Get on board!

Jaclyn was an amazing tour guide! She was very well spoken and we could tell she loved her job very much! She allowed us to learn about her life. She also took our needs into consideration since it was cold. The way she spoke about the history was very beautiful and was very respectful. She made this tour very enjoyable.

We learned so much about history of Rock feller center! We appreciate your care of us ,Ms. Mindy C. She is an amazing tour guide! Mindy always explained us passionately!

Rob was a beautiful guide, weelnprepared and friendly, good tour! Very interesting and the neighborhood is to be visited

We did the walking tour of NYC with John Bow on day 2 of our trip, and it was brilliant. John was friendly, funny and knowledgeable and the tour really set us up for the rest of the week. NYC is an amazing place and for a first time visit, I would highly recommend the walking tour - with John!

Was very fun and informative, Jacob gave us a really good tour of the area explaining and showing us what the area used to be and how it has changed for the better

Sergio was great!!! We gave us a grear expiriance and very good explanation of the statue if liberty. Kids and family friendly

Great storyteller… Very enthusiastic. Love Emily‘s knowledge and her ability to bring the past to life. Would highly recommend this tour. Respond to review

Jess was our tour guide. He actually is a retired attorney who worked for the SEC on Wall Street. He shared great stories about the history of the financial district as well as stories about some of the shenanigans! The tour was fun and interesting in spite of the cold weather! I recommend this tour to everyone who visits NYC!

Jayke brought the energy needed to go on a tour this cold December morning. It was freezing outside but boy did he make learning about Lady Liberty and Ellis Island unforgettable! He was charismatic and funny and was very detailed in providing history. I was excited to keep learning more and he was very kind and personable. Highly recommend this man as a guide.

This was a very interesting tour led by Felipe. I discovered many interesting stories about the boroughs! It helped me better understand the specific characteristics of the neighborhoods.

Kevin offered a great guided tour with excellent flow.. it has always a great prospective going through a museum with someone to provide an insight of how to approach the art or an artifact. Thank you Kevin.

My girlfriend and I wanted to see New York, but we had no idea where to start, if we had tried to do it ourselves we wouldn't have seen a 10th of what we saw with Tom. It was a great time and I would recommend him to anyone, he really knows what he's doing, and made us all feel very special.

Chris was excellent! He was lively, fun, informative, proactively shared plans for the day & reiterated important information like meeting spots, restroom stops, & times to regroup. He was a great photographer and even brought props! Only general feedback I’d share (not related to Chris) for future tours is for the company to squeegee the bus windows prior to the tour to make sure windows are easy to see and take pictures from. Also would recommend customers to arrive more than 15 minutes early and sit on the front right side of the bus as most sights were on the right during the route & at the front you’ll be first in line for snacks, photos, etc. Overall though, really great tour & would definitely recommend!

Had a great experience! Fun, very informative, great vibes, and good times! So much to learn and do! A definite must Chris was great!

Had a great experience on this tour with Chris tour guide. He provided lots of helpful and interesting insight into New York and surrounding areas.he was Very engaging, helping take lots of photos and answering any questions we had. Great tour and great tour guide.

This tour was a solid 10/10 experience from start to finish. Our tour guide, Chris, was amazing and really made the whole tour enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept the energy fun the entire time. Everything was well organized, smooth, and stress-free, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Chris shared great information while also making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. The tour was worth every penny, and I’m so glad I booked it. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting and would absolutely do it again.

Bon guide excellent commentary good songs and supports to take picture : christ is a good man : to do again and to advice 👍👍👍👍

Chris is an amazing tour guide! Knows his stuff full of knowledge and patiently takes plenty of photos for everyone. Be nice if the trip ended where it started

Really great way to see more than just the main downtown Manhattan. Several stops where you can walk around, stop for lunch, bathroom breaks and lovely pictures. The guide, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable, spoke very clearly and provided a comprehensive history. He was not boring at all. A pleasant 6 hour experience during extremely cold weather! Definitely highly recommend! And new area to me in Brooklyn, called Dumbo, just overlooking the water. Upscale area. So much to see and learn about NY even though I have visited so many times

Emily was an excellent guide. Full of enthusiasm, facts, passion, and commitment, even in the midst of bitter cold winds. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your personal family history, Emily.

The tour was very informative. Jim Q made it very exciting to learn new things. George got us through safely. Absolute wonderful experience!!!! Itinerary was stuck to so there was no surprise of shorter stops or missing stops. They were both very kind, would recommend to everyone who’s looking!

A great guide kind with clear explanations and personal experience sharing I was happy to have a precise idea of the story of Wall Street

Excellent tour outside 911 Memorial. Be prepared to walk outdoors, espein the cold. . Rob was excellent guide!!

Amazing tourguide Peter sullivan! Funny, interessing spots of New York and amazing history facts. Easy to understand. We Got to see New York from a different perspective

Tony was wonderful. He is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge regarding 911. He has a pleasant demeanor and was very accommodating in answering our questions.

Great way to view all of NYC. Thoroughly enjoyed Jim ( tour guide) info and stories. Amazing to see the Brooklyn bridge and listen to Alicia keys as we went over the manhattan bridge at the end. Thanks to our guide Jim Quinn and driver George!

Walked from the first ever Macy's to Vanderbilt and learned lots of fun and useful things about New York, its history and architecture. Bob was a great tour guide.

Sergio is as a brilliant tour guide around the 9/11 Memorial. He was happy to take questions and can adapt the tour to your own needs. I’d highly recommend.

Alex was our guide and he did a fantastic job! He was knowledgable and also made it fun. We would definitely recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Alex.

Meghan was an excellent tour guide and an encyclopedia of information. This was our second tour of the 9/11 Memorial and by far the best one.

Very good experience. These visits have been successful mainly due to our knowledgeable guide Jim. Jim is extremely generous and gives lots of details on the history of New York. He also care of the visitors. We warmly recommend this tour and hopefully you’ll have the chance to be guided by Jim. Sophie and David from Belgium

We did the High Line Chelsea tour today and really enjoyed it. Our guide, Peter Sullivan, was very knowledgeable and quietly witty, sharing interesting detail without it feeling over the top or rushed. It was cold, but the tour kept moving and stayed focused, which we appreciated. The pace was good and it added useful context to what we were seeing without trying too hard. A solid five star experience and well worth doing.

It was a short trip, but exactly what I was looking for. The guide was lovely and knowledgeable. Good if you want some history of the area and to familiarise yourself with the area too.

The guide was very precise and kind. I talked and told us about the memorial in a so personal way that would make us feel all the empaty with the moments he talked about. I would really reccomend it.

We had a great trip with Chris, who provided us great insights into the history and places of the outer burrows of NYC. His personal stories and experience from the city made this even more interesting! We can definitely recommend this tour!

Liz was a great guide! And she was very patient with my very eager 10 yr old! Liz is a native New Yorker and was very knowledgable. Although not the best time of year (super cold!) we highly enjoyed the tour. About a hour spent outside so be prepared for the weather. Very touching stories.

The tour overcome my expectstion. It was great to see different places in New York. The real New York as our outstanding guide Jim said. Congratulations to all team.

Our guide, Sean, made the tour truly engaging with his deep knowledge of the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, which he generously shared with our entire group. He went above and beyond by providing extra assistance to one group member who was in a wheelchair, always willing to help with a positive attitude. There was never a dull moment during the tour with Sean, and stepping on the Statue of Liberty Island itself and getting so close to the Statue of Liberty was an incredible experience. It was such a whole other level of happiness!

— Paul

Definitely worth the price! It was cold but Charlie made sure we were inside where it was warm. I am not a history buff but Charlie made it soooo interesting and he is really knowledgeable about the Statue and Ellis Island that I was very attentive! I recommend taking the tour! If you want to go inside the Statue it must be booked 7 weeks in advance and there are strict background checks.

Charlie was very knowledgeable on his history and helped us navigate quickly through the tour. The tour was a great experience.

Our private tour with Jorge was amazing! We saw so many things in just one day and his knowledge was incredible. We had 4 moms and 4 teens and he was able to keep us all happy and engaged all day. Highly recommend this as a way to see the NYC highlights in a day!

Our first time seeing the Statue of Liberty and Joseph, our tour guide, made us feel so welcomed and informed with so much history we didn’t know about. He was outgoing, funny, and attentive to making sure his group stayed together at all times. Best tour we’ve gone to yet and all thanks to Joseph!!!!!

Jorge was awesome and very knowledgeable about everything we viewed. It was a pleasure meeting him. He did a very great job. I can't wait to come back and do the tour again. It was a cloudy rainy day and missed a lot of views due to the dense fog so will definitely. E coming back. Probably the highlight of our whole trip.

I especially appreciated how the tour balanced facts with personal stories, making the experience both educational and deeply moving. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to better understand the events of 9/11.

How a tragic event has turned into a remembrance, such detail involved everyday to remember the people who lost their lives

If there's such a thing as a perfect tour guide, it's Charlie from ExpreinceFirst. We took his tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on December 31st, and it was the highlight of our stay in NYC. Charlie was beyond great -- professionally organized, keeping tabs on all clients, which isn't easy with a group. He dazzled us with his knowledge, but presented information in an enjoyable way that helped everyone pay attention. And he added personal touches that made historical information more understandable. All that, and he took the time to get to know us, his clients.

Charlie was our guide for a very cold day trip to Liberty and Ellis Islands. Charlie was empathic to our needs and was able to use his experience to get us on the boat fast and positioned in the best section of the boat that was warm. Charlie was exciting to listen to because you could really tell that he enjoyed telling historical stories about the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. He also knew the best spots to take photos. He was also right about the cafe at Ellis Island. It was very good. We highly recommend this trip

Our guide Ray provided a lot of history and facts about the boroughs of NYC. It was a very comfortable bus. It was a cold day so it was very nice to be able to come back into the warm bus in between stops. The stops were not all your typical touristy places which I appreciated. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour! Tony Di Sante did a great job! Saw lots of things we wouldn’t have without the tour very emotional and informative, thank you so much

Ray R was great leading our 9/11 sites tour! Please ask for Ray R if you want a knowledgeable, experienced, and humorous guide who’s a native New Yorker.

Sean is your guide of all guides! He brings the incredible stories to life with such fascinating details. Thank you, Sean!! You made this once-in-a-lifetime experience the best I could have hoped for!

— Micke

Charlie, our tour guide, made it fun and educational for my sister and me. He was very New Yorker, moving at a fast pace at all times, but still allowing us time to take in the significance and history of the sites.

Ray, our guide, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Very entertaining too. I would hope to have him as a guide again if I were to come back.

Our tour guide Chris was amazing. He grew up in New York and knows the city inside out. Everything was perfectly organized and the tour was excellently guided. The ideal mix of seeing and discovering a lot, great information, fun, famous sights and highlights – plus enough movement and time for photos. Highly recommended !
